Senior Accountant

​

Your roles, responsibilities and backgrounds will include, but not limited, to the following:

  1. To prepare complete working paper files with respect to Notice to Reader and Review engagements;

  2. To prepare corporate and personal income tax returns;

  3. To guide junior level staff to perform bookkeeping (including broker investment write-ups), and to prepare payroll and sales tax reports;

  4. To complete tasks and related follow-up in an autonomous manner;

  5. Be able to identify general income tax issues and to consult with superiors for potential income tax planning opportunities;

  6. To respond to client queries on matters relating to the files;

  7. Be able to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently and effectively;

  8. Possessed proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Caseware, Sage, QuickBook, Taxprep, Office, Excel and PowerPoint etc.;

  9. Be able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and oral forms;

  10. Acquired working experience of at least 4 years in a CPA firm.

 

Supervisor - Accountant

 

Your roles, responsibilities and backgrounds will include, but not limited, to the following:

  1. To supervise the completion of working paper files with respect to Notice to Reader and Review engagements, and to review these files;

  2. To review corporate and personal income tax returns;

  3. Be able to develop orderly work plan based on mandate scoping, including staffing requirements;

  4. To ensure mandate budget is being respected and to flag any issues in a timely manner;

  5. Acquired in-depth accounting and income tax knowledge, be able to identify semi-complex income tax issues and to consult with superiors for potential income tax planning opportunities;

  6. To build, maintain and improve client relationship and to take ownership of the files;

   7. To demonstrate good time management on all aspects of a mandate and the ability to prioritizing multiple tasks;

   8. To provide ongoing feedback to staff and to contribute in developing the junior staff;

   9. To actively participate in training and recruiting activities;

   10. Possessed proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Caseware, Sage, QuickBook, Taxprep, Office, Excel and PowerPoint etc.;

   11. Be able to communicate clearly and concisely in written and oral forms;

   12. Acquired working experience of at least 6 years in a CPA firm.

Manager - Accountant

​

Your roles, responsibilities and backgrounds will include, but not limited, to the following:

​

  1. Acquired in-depth core technical knowledge and soft skills;

  2. To review and finalize complex corporate and personal income tax returns;

  3. To review and to manage mandate workplans and to suggest solutions when difficulties are met;

  4. To ensure mandate budget is being respected and be able to resolve budget issues in a timely manner;

  5. Be able to manage and to deliver multiple complex engagements;

  6. To acquire and maintain advanced knowledge of the clients’ business and industries;

  7. To manage client relationship, to ensure mandate deadlines are respected and client issues are resolved in a timely manner;

  8. To identify client’s need on current engagements and to propose valued-added solutions;

  9. Possessed in-depth accounting and income tax knowledge, be able to identify complex income tax issues and tax planning opportunities;

  10. To know and understand the risk elements inherent in the mandates and to plan accordingly;

  11. To ensure team and resources are appropriately managed to support the efficiency of the business;

  12. To establish, communicate and monitor objectives and goals as performance coach for lower level staff;

  13. To provide ongoing feedback and exchange of information at the upper and lower echelons within the organization;

  14. To organize and to participate in the team’s initiative and events;

  15. To actively participate in knowledge transfer activities such as developing learning sessions and training events;

  16. Acquired working experience of at least 8 years in a CPA firm.
