His prior professional experience includes being a tax expert with Revenue China for more than 10 years and an auditor with Richter for 5 years. in 2013, he founded the firm in Montreal, and soon expanded to Toronto and Vancouver.

​

His expertise is in both Canadian and Chinese taxation and accounting systems. A lot of his clients are high net-worth investor immigrants and subsidiaries of Chinese companies. He uses his expertise in both countries to help Chinese entrepreneurs to invest in Canada. He is also a specialist in pre -landing tax planning for high net-worth immigrant families.

He has established professional networks across China and Canada with partners including governments, associations, accounting firms, law firms, financial institutions and immigration agencies.

Peng Du

CPA, CA

 

Peng has a well-earned reputation for keeping on top of new trends in fiscal matters. Very adept when it comes to the technical side of her job, Peng is recognized for the depth of her expertise and for her strong attention to detail, both of which enable her offer optimal solutions to her clients. She is dedicated to growing business and helping her team succeed.

 

Peng has acquired 17 years’ experience in Canadian accounting, audit and taxation.  Before joining WJDS-Times CPA team in 2018, Peng was Vice President of Tax at Richter LLP.  Her experience also includes tax executive at a Canadian public company.  She is a tax specialist and advises both corporate and individual clients on a wide variety of tax issues, including reorganizations, estate planning, inbound and outbound transactions, corporate, trust and partnership structures and all areas of Canadian income tax compliance matters.

 

Over the years, Peng has been a part-time lecturer at the John Molson School of Business, teaching courses in the CPA program. She has also been a lecturer of Ordre des CPA du Québec’s professional development courses including Income Tax Issues Dealing with Real Estate and Advanced Tax Planning Strategies.

Wai Shao

​

Wai Shao is known for his sound judgement, his analytical abilities, and his excellent communication skills. He acquired more than 20 years of professional accounting experience working with Richter LLP, Ernst & Young LLP and PSB Boisjoli LLP before joining the WJDS-Times CPA team in 2019.

 

Wai’s clients include small- and medium-sized companies from various sectors: real estate companies, condominium developers, professional services firms, and financial and investment companies are among the satisfied clients who have placed their trust in Wai for many years. Wai offers a wide range of accounting and taxation advice, directs the compliance of income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, and handles communications with the tax authorities on behalf of his clients. He also provides his clients with direct assistance in managing and settling tax audits and in exploring tax planning opportunities.

 

Wai uses his strong leadership and communication skills to contribute significantly to the training and professional development of his team members and colleagues. He regularly organises and delivers in-house training sessions and serves as a mentor to accounting students through the CPA Order and UQAM mentorship programs.

 

Wai is valued for his ability to build, train, and motivate work teams, for his effective administration of his employees’ workload, and for his unfailing commitment to ongoing improvement. His clients appreciate his solid sense of priorities, his remarkable organisational skills, and his proven ability to pursue multiple projects at once.

Hua Jiang

Hua Jiang is specialized in individual / business accounting and taxation. She has been providing professional services to small-medium size business owners for more than 10 years. Clientele includes but not limited to retail/wholesale, importing/exporting, daycare centers, resto/bar/hotel, professionals in business, investment company, subsidiary of oversea-company and etc.

 

Hua has joined WJDS-Times CPA since 2015. She used to work in Richter LLP enterprise department and Pierre Rozon CGA Inc.

 

Proficient in English and French facilitates her to communicate and dealing with government and tax authorities on behalf of the clients. Familiar with various business type enables her providing consulting services in business purchase and management. Engineering background makes her strong in analysis and multitasking.
